Pathway to Wellness

Pathway to Wellness for University Students coming in October 2026.

Pathway to Wellness, for University Students is a health promotion and lifestyle support intervention developed by the Lifestyle Shaping Lab of the Occupational Therapy Department at European University Cyprus. The programme is designed to support university students in developing healthier, more balanced, and sustainable daily routines during a demanding period of academic and personal transition.

Student life is often associated with stress, fatigue, time-management difficulties, and challenges in maintaining healthy habits. The intervention aims to empower students to improve their physical and mental wellbeing through meaningful lifestyle changes and active engagement in everyday occupations.

The programme consists of 10 face-to-face sessions delivered individually or in groups throughout the academic semester. Using an occupational therapy and lifestyle-oriented approach, participants are supported to explore their routines, habits, occupational balance, sleep, physical activity, nutrition, stress management, and social participation.

The intervention focuses on helping students:

9

Develop healthier and more sustainable habits

9
Improve balance between studies, personal life, rest, and social participation
9

Pathway to Wellness for University students promotes participation, self-reflection, and empowerment, aiming to support students in creating lifestyles that enhance health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
